Trash Can Ice Sculpture

This "cool" trash can ice sculpture was a fun find-of-the-day and is sitting in the middle of my green house midst my kale and salad greens. I wonder when it will melt? Any guesses? I'll keep you posted....
In the meantime- I'm back to glazing and will have hot-out-of-kiln pieces to take to the Craftsbury Academy Market this Saturday, Dec. 1st from 10- 3pm. Hope to see you there.

Thanks for Contrast

Those of us who live here are blessed with lots of contrast. In regards to weather- we have the saying,"if you don't like the weather- wait a minute." Even if I don't like the weather I can find something to appreciate, like this view out my kitchen window! I'm going to go glaze pots and let the lentil soup cook on the wood stove... I hope all of you find something to appreciate today.

Giving Thanks

The Fall has been beautiful and the harvest plentiful and I'm experiencing joy just looking at this beautiful view out my kitchen window. I have wonderful friends and family surrounding me. I am blessed with health and inspiration to get up every day and shout out "Life is Good".
I wish you all a happy holiday season.
