We have a thin layer of snow -enough to keep the reptiles under ground..so I'm making things out of clay, like these 2 platters, that might remind you of snakes...or sea shells...

 Did you notice that the word HEART has the word "hear" in it....suggesting perhaps there is             something worth listening too! The word HEART also contains the word "art" in it....imagine unlimited creativity...Anything is possible.

A cold day-perfect for hot tea!

The wind was whistling through the branches, snow blowing everywhere and according to my daughter, Naomi, I just can't make the cups too big!!

New Art & Old Lace

 I was recently gifted (Thank you Nadya) a trash bag full of lace.  Sweet gems and treasures for the likes of me!!! I like to press the patterns into wet clay and make precious things with the beautiful textures.  With Valentine's Day just around the corner- I've been making clay hearts into plates, bowls, earrings and pendants (like the one below). You can find my clay hearts at Frog Hollow in Burlington, Artisans Hand in Montpelier, The Northeast Kingdom Art Guild in St. J,  Haymaker Press in Morrisville and at my Greensboro Barn.
