We've already had our first snow fall and the tomatoes are through, but the salad is thriving in the greenhouse. So it's time to put a blanket of leaves on the garden and prepare for the Holiday Alternative Giving Craft Fair on Saturday, November 19, from 10 until 3 pm at the Greensboro United Church. I'll have a table filled with homemade jams and garlic oil bowls (with my own garlic) porcelain earrings and more great gift items...Hope to see you there.

June tomato!!
ranzbarn@yahoo.comwww.JenniferRanz.comI haven't been making as many pots as I'd like, but I just ate my first ripe tomato! With all the funky weather we've had this spring, I have been enjoying digging in the dirt in my new greenhouse, and having so much fun listening to the rain and watching the plants grow in the warmth and shelter. It sure is nice having vine ripe tomatoes before the 4th of July. Celebrate!!!!
