Endless Lawn

For all of you who live near a field you are experiencing the endless lawn.  There are only a few days a year where there is no distinction between the lawn and the field until we get out the lawn mower and carve out the border between the yard and the hay field.  Well today was the day and maybe tomorrow....but soon I will have to get out the lawnmower and that will put an end to the endless lawn.....I'm enjoying the moment and hope you are too.

Sunday Work Crew

 I recently purchased new lawn mowers.
They don't ask for a day off, no complaints...even work weekends and holidays. They are tireless...even competitive over every piece of grass...even working "chewing" while they take a break....some one ought to be marketing this lawn mowing system!!! You don't need to buy any gas, oil , chemicals or fertilizer...This system even supplies unlimited entertainment.

2013 Snow is OUT Contest at the Greensboro Barn

The 2013 Snow Out Contest at the Greensboro Barn ended around 7pm on April 18th when the last bit off ice melted under the warm southwest wind.

The winner is Lewis L. from Senegal.  His guess was April 18, 12:00 pm.

Snow Out at the Greensboro Barn Update

This photo of the Greensboro Barn was taken on Monday April 8, 2013.  As you can see there still is a bit of snow on the ground, but with a couple warm days it might be gone. So keep your ears or eyes peeled for the news.  Hope you are enjoying Spring where ever you are!

Update: 2013 Snow Out Contest at the Greensboro Barn

Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to give you and update on the 2013 Snow Out Contest at the Greensboro Barn.
Currently the snow is still coming IN-so I am sorry to all of you who guessed March. Predictions in April look promising, but it's hard to say when that will happen.  I will keep you posted!
Keep warm and enjoy spring??? it's not here yet....

Spring is here when the sap is running....Last weekend I had a fun sleigh ride through the Howrigan's sugarbush in Fairfield, VT behind H.J.'s team of horses.

2013 Snow Out Contest at the Greensboro Barn

Hello Everyone

It's time to start my 2013 Snow Out Contest. The attached photo was taken a couple days ago during a nice snow fall.

Everyone who wants to participate needs to send me a reply by March 10th. Only one guess per person! You are welcome to share this Contest with any of your friends.

 The reply needs to have a DATE (month/day)  and a TIME of day (11:34 AM) when you think all the snow will have melted from this photo perspective of the Greensboro Barn.

I will keep participants updated periodically on the snow fall or melting process until all the snow has disappeared from the photo.
