The magnificent
renovated historic 1880s Greensboro Barn will be open to the public
during the Vermont’s Annual Fall Open Studio Weekend on Oct. 6 & 7,
2012. Open Studio hours are 10 to 5 pm Saturday and Sunday. Come and
visit one of Vermont’s beautiful old barns and see new ceramic work
by Jennifer Ranz, which will be displayed along with her Giclée
watercolor reproductions of local scenes. Jennifer will be
demonstrating her wheel thrown pottery and hand building techniques
with clay.
Jennifer Ranz has
been working with clay for over 30 years. She makes a variety of
porcelain jewelry that is unique and comfortable to wear. Her pottery
covers a wide array of ceramic items that are decorative, whimsical
and are high fired, functional and individually glazed.
The Greensboro Barn
is located on the Country Club Road one mile from the famous Willey’s
general store in Greensboro. It is open year round and appointments
